Mazatlán, Sinaloa. 28 de diciembre de 2019 (Andrey Fuentes/Club Cañeros).- Los Cañeros de Los Mochis y los Venados de Mazatlán dejaron las cosas parejas en un peleado primer día de juego en el puerto, al quedar los marcadores 2-1 y 3-1 en favor de verdes y rojos respectivamente.
JUEGO 1
Los Cañeros se pusieron al frente desde la primera entrada cuando Isaac Rodríguez abrió la tanda con doble y le siguió Josuan Hernández con sencillo productor.
En la tercera los Venados igualaron el marcador; Jeremías Pineda bateó triple y luego Edson García lo mando a la registradora con doble.
Al siguiente episodio los verdes lograron despegarse; con dos outs y hombre en tercera Rodolfo Amador bateó rola al cuadro pero un error del tercera base le permitió llegar quieto y que anotara Leandro Castro.
PITCHEO
Édgar Torres tiró los 7 episodios y sufrió la derrota al aceptar 2 carreras, le conectaron cuatro hits, dio una base y ponchó a dos.
Por Cañeros inciió Andrés Ávila y aceptó una carrera en cuatro entradas. Fue relevado por el ganador Fabián Cota, Daniel Duarte y salvó Santiago Gutiérrez.

Los Venados pegaron primero al iniciar con par de hits en la baja de la primera entrada para que luego Carlos Muñoz conectara rola al cuadro buena para que Jeremías Pineda registrara la de la quiniela.
Para el segundo episodio el mismo Pineda fue el encargado de producir con sencillo que remolcó a Ricky Álvarez.
En el sexto rollo los Cañeros rompieron el cero con hit de Josuan Hernández el cual impulsó a Isaac Rodríguez.
Para la parte baja de ese capítulo los del puerto se apuntaron una más; Chris Roberson bateó triple con el que Issmael Salas registró el 3-1 definitivo.
Para este domingo el juego será a las 6 de la tarde y podrían enfrentarse Misael López y Francisco Moreno.
PITCHEO
Por Venados inició José Marrujo con 4.1 innings en blanco. Le siguieron Iván Zavala, Arturo Barradas, Kyle Halbohn y cerró Ryan Newell.
Héctor Silvestre fue derrotado al aceptar 3 carreras en cinco innings y dos tercios. Erick Valenzuela retiró el último tercio.
