La escuadra de Chivas rechazó categóricamente que la contratación de Luis Fernando Tena, nuevo timonel rojiblanco, sea producto de «amiguismos e intereses extraprofesionales» e indicaron que no hubo intermediarios en las negociaciones con el estratega mexicano.
Ante los rumores de que el promotor, Carlos Hurtado, estuvo implicado en la llegada de El ‘Flaco’ al Rebaño Sagrado, el club tapatío compartió en sus redes sociales un comunicado para desmentir tal información y recalcó que la directiva se comunicó directamente con Tena.
«En Chivas, hemos actuado, como es nuestra costumbre, con los estándares éticos y legales más altos, en todos los procesos. En especial, en la designación del cuerpo técnico y fichaje de jugadores. El contacto, negociación y contratación de nuestro nuevo técnico fue realizada de manera directa, sin intermediarios ni promotores», señala la institución.
De igual manera, Chivas puntualizó que el cambio en la dirección técnica se debe principalmente a la «consecución de mejores resultados, mismos que ha brindado consistentemente el Profesor Luis Fernando Tena a lo largo de su carrera.»
Por su parte, Tena, reconoció en su presentación con Chivas que tiene una amistad con Carlos Hurtado pero aseguró que el promotor no tuvo ningún contacto con los directivos rojiblancos.
“Es amigo mío de hace muchos años pero no tuvo injerencia en que llegara. Lo que hizo Chivas fue que revisaron mi currículum, después piden referencias, luego hacen entrevistas y después deciden”, declaró.
El ‘Flaco’ debutará este sábado como técnico del Rebaño Sagrado en el Clásico Nacional ante América. El compromiso se disputará en la cancha del Estadio Azteca y dará inicio a las 21:05 horas del centro de México.
